RipTide WFB Cone Longboard Bushings
Sold as a set of two with a Sticker. 0.6" height (Longboard).
WFB stands for World's Fastest Bushings — RipTide's fastest-transitioning formula, thanks to a unique friction-reducing lubricant blended into the urethane. Don't worry about the fine white residue on the surface when they arrive — that's the lubricant doing its job, and it's completely expected.
The Cone shape is the carviest of RipTide's WFB shapes — its tapered profile gives more lean and a surfier turn than the Barrel, and paired with WFB's reduced-friction urethane it's a popular Road-Side (top) choice for riders chasing maximum carve.
WFB delivers roughly 15-20% more lean than the same durometer in another brand's bushing, and rides noticeably softer than its tested durometer suggests.
- WFB Formula - WFB Longboard 0.6" -
Don't be afraid to mix and match a softer durometer bushing into the Road-Side (Top) position with a harder durometer (or a Barrel) in the Board-Side (Bottom) position for extra stability while keeping some carve.
- Hardest (95.5a) is for heavier riders or a very tight setup.
- Hard (93a) suits average-weight riders wanting a tight, low-wobble setup.
- Medium (88a) suits medium-weight riders, or a looser Road-Side pairing.
- Soft (78a - 83a) suits light-weight riders and a looser overall setup.
- Very Soft (68a - 73a) suits very light-weight or young riders, and is popular for slalom.
